Before 1986 Limar was exclusively a maker of mid-range motorcycle helmets. In that year, using that knowledge of EPS foam padding, Limar expanded their product base entering a growing MTB market in the U.S.  They haven't looked back since.  The company uses the In-Mold production process allowing a reduction in weight coupled with superior impact resistance.  The Super System 2 micrometric sizing wheel, an offspring of original adjustment wheel developed by Limar, is light and easily dialed to fit. Cool Comfort soft pads are ergonomic, anti-allergic, and absorbent, designed for secure yet relaxed fit.  Specially shaped air flows help you keep a cool head.

Limar helmets bear three certifications, including the stringent CPSC safety Standard.

Founded in 1983 Louis Garneau went from an operation out of his father's garage in Quebec, Canada to a brand recognized and sold throughout the world.  The Diamond is LG's top-of-the-line model, encompassing the company's years to experience in quality helmet design and construction.
